“I’ve tried out a lot of motivational daily reading books and was unhappy with nearly all because of the religious nature to them. This book, on the other hand, has practical, energizing motivational tools for daily, weekly, or on demand reading. It is written in such a way that everyone, no matter what your belief or non-belief is can read it and gain, dare I say, inspiration from it. As titled, it literally is like a pep talk for the thinking person.

The book is small (5.5″ x 6.5”) so each reading is around 3 pages, usually with a poem or two and an informative story that goes with it. Examples of titles are “Action”, “Attitude”, “Obstacles”, “Influence”, “Time Management”, “Happiness”, etc; around 60 readings in all. There really is something for everyone. The stories are easy to identify with and I found motivate me even when I am feeling a lack therein.

I love this book. This is my second copy as I wore out the first. It’s a treasure worth having. It makes you think and inspires you to be a better person both in your personal and professional life.”

“My 11 year old daughter actually came home from school and asked me to order this book. Her teacher read 1 section to them and she said she had to have the book. If it inspired my daughter that much, I’ll say it must be a great book!”
